CUSTOM-BUILT HALF BARN DOOR / DOG GATE I built this custom half barn door for my home's indoor staircase to prevent my dogs from going upstairs. It worked great as a much more substantial and attractive alternative to a traditional dog gate. The additional thin wood flap was originally added so the half door could function as a full-height door and is completely removable if you only want to use the main half door. The door is unfinished and ready to be sanded and painted to match your home. It also comes with high-quality tension hinges as pictured.
