The laptop works perfectly while plugged in, but if the charger is removed, it shuts off. Battery stays at 0% and will not charge despite replacement. Screen intermittently glitches. Troubleshooting attempted (including BIOS update), but BIOS cannot complete because the battery cannot reach the required 30% charge. Fans may be showing signs of wear. In the past, the fans would occasionally make a grinding noise similar to a car trying to crank over. The noise eventually stopped on its own, and the laptop does not appear to overheat, but the exact condition of the fans is unknown.
