Description

One of the "Kings & Queens" series specialty vintage teapots made by James Sadler of Staffordshire England. King Henry VIII and his six wives (Anne Boleyn, Anne of Cleves, Jane Seymour, Catherine Parr, Catherine Howard, Catherine of Aragon) are depicted on the ceramic octagon shaped teapot. Henry is shown on each side of the pot with two different wives and the other two wives are pictured on the lid of the teapot in a small circle head and shoulder image. The teapot is painted expertly in royal colors and is trimmed in gold. It measures approximately 6" high to the top of the finial and 7 1/2" wide from the edge of handle to the tip of spout. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or blemishes, some very small scuff marks on base.  Made In England.   .
