Description

This modified gold jem jr plays beautifully with stock pickups and especially with the Eddie Van Halen Frankenstein humbucker pickup when trying to play some rock. Modifications I made: I modified the humbucker by swapping out the bridge humbucker stock and replacing it with the EVH Frankenstein humbucker pickup as in the picture above which was pricy. I modified all the hardware except the bridge to be gold hardware. Including the tone knobs and the tuners which were pretty pricy as seen in the picture. The strap locks are also gold. Even the locking nut is gold. And all the screws in the guitar are gold. Problems with the guitar: It has three small cracks all located near the neck as seen in the pictures and one small scratch near their too. There is a problem with the Floyd rose bridge making a little weird sound when playing not plugged in but doesn’t bother that much. The action is pretty low so if you prefer something a little higher you would have to fix it yourself. And there is some buzz on the guitar. On the pickup selector there is no little white knob but isn’t a big issue they sell them for 5$ online and on the top of the headstock there is a scratch on the guitar. NOTE: This is a FLOYD ROSE GUITAR not your typical guitar where you can just tune it and play. If you have no experience in tuning them it’s super easy to do and I can teach you if you want to buy this guitar or you can just learn online it takes like 10 minutes. Overall it’s a really nice eye dropping guitar, when I pull it out to play at gigs many people love the way it looks and plays. There are Some issues but are mostly fixable and not noticeable. I spent about 500$ on the guitar and spent 400$ on modifications, I will be selling it at a reasonable price so no low offers. I will NOT take refunds all sales are final. Please read the issues it has before meeting up to test the guitar. Thank you!
