This is a heavy, high quality, substantial dining set with a modern designer look and a unique rope wrapped pedestal base. The table originally retailed for approximately $1,000 and the four acrylic chairs were $150 each, making the original retail value of the complete set $1,600. The rope around the base has started to unravel in a few areas. It has been secured with glue and could easily be repaired or completely rewrapped if desired. One of the wooden beams underneath the table is showing and has some damage. This does not impact the structure or stability of the table and is not very noticeable once the table is set up. The tabletop has visible wear and scratches, as shown in the photos. The tabletop could easily be repainted or refinished to give it a fresh look. The acrylic chairs are in good overall condition. The imperfections are cosmetic only. This is still a very substantial, high quality piece of furniture with a beautiful designer look.
