Description

This is a beautiful, solid wood mantle clock (heavy) with brass details, beveled glass front door (free from chips, cracks and divots) and brass feet. The clock movement is a Franz Hermle 340-020 and is in pristine condition!! Timekeeping is accurate! Chiming on each quarter hour and hourly gongs (number of gongs repeating as necessary to represent the hour.) The hands are synced to the chiming mechanism so all music is accurate. The case is free from dents and significant scratches. Movement requires #8 key (included) to wind the the arbors. One is for time, one is for quarterly chime, and the third is for hourly chime. Hermle 340-030 movement is balance escapement-not a pendulum. Chime is Westminster 4:4 progression with five (5) hammers. Run time is 8 days on complete wind.
