This is an oversized vintage 360° Ship’s Anchor / Navigation Lantern manufactured by the historic Wilcox, Crittenden & Co., Inc. out of Middletown, Conn. U.S.A. Features the original maker's badge riveted to the chimney displaying the official stylized "WC" company monogram. Key Features: • Heavy Galvanized Construction: Authentic weathered, rustic steel patina with its structural wire safety cage fully intact. • Flawless Fresnel Lens: The massive, heavy clear glass ribbed lens has survived beautifully with no major cracks or structural damage. • Original Brass Burner Insert: Includes the removable solid brass/copper fuel fount reservoir underneath. Condition Note: The glass and outer metal cage are in excellent antique condition. Please note that the original brass internal fuel burner has a visible crack in the metal casing. It is being sold as a beautiful, high-end decorative display piece and should not be filled with oil unless repaired. Perfect as a coastal statement piece, industrial interior decor element, or addition to a serious nautical collection.
