Description
Circa 1770 - This very charming mahogany tilt-top table is one of those pieces that really catches the eye. This tilt-top mahogany tea table is breathtakingly beautiful and is sure to become one of the jewels of your home. No wonder the superior craftsmen of the late 18th century designed it to be a display piece as well as a fancy serving table to offer your company tea, coffee, or other refreshments. The scalloped edge tabletop, showing a beautiful wood pattern, is adorned with acanthus carvings in a piecrust style, with ball and claw feet. The lock is designed to either fix the tabletop in a vertical position, to secure it horizontally, or to rotate freely lazy Susan style. Last photo shows what these tables sell for. This is an excellent price. Measures. 29” high x 29” around and 43” high when tilted. It's a wonderful piece that anyone would absolutely love. Make it yours today!
