Schwinn Panther and/or Black Phantom Klunker - Ready to Ride

For sale is the complete bike plus the additional Black Phantom frame. I live in Huntington Beach and wanted to ride something special for this year’s 4th of July bike parade to celebrate the 250th. I ended up purchasing a few different bike lots and this what I ended up with. The bike started its life as a Schwinn Black Phantom and then I found a straight bar Schwinn Panter and liked that look better which is why I have 2 frames. I believe the frame, seat post, seat, chain guard are all original Phantom parts. Not sure about the neck, bars or grips. The rims are probably late 1970’s ish, S2 style, the front is stamped S2 but not the rear. I believe the crank is original Phantom and not too sure about the sprocket. The Panther is serial A98109 and the Phantom is D16716, both early 1950s frames. Yes it’s a clunker but the bike rides really nicely and gets lots of compliments. Not willing to trade, trying to thin out my collection.
