Up for sale is a collectible first-edition copy of "Auto 1953: Annuario Internazionale" (International Automobile Annual). Compiled by the legendary Italian industrial designer, illustrator, and automotive historian Carlo Biscaretti di Ruffia (founder of the National Automobile Museum in Turin). Published in Venice by Alfieri Editore. This rare Italian language yearbook is an incredible time capsule of post-war automotive design. It features over 400 beautiful plates, technical illustrations, and photographs capturing the finest vehicles of 1953 from worldwide manufacturers like Ferrari, Fiat, Ford, Alfa Romeo, and Rolls-Royce. An essential centerpiece for any classic car enthusiast, automotive historian, or vintage book collector. The original paper dust jacket is intact but shows visible shelf wear, edge chipping, and is torn is several. The book spine is also splitting and pages do have yellowing.
