It is engineered with a second-order, 12 dB per octave slope profile, providing a precise 3-octave spread between the transition points to maintain clear driver separation and optimal acoustic performance. Wiring and Application Tips • Multi-Woofer Flexibility: The unique low-pass section means you can wire a single 8-Ohm woofer, a single 4-Ohm woofer, or parallel-wire two 8-Ohm woofers (creating a 4-Ohm load) without altering the low-end crossover point. • Driver Matching: Ensure your midrange and tweeter drivers have a nominal impedance of 8 Ohms. Using 4-Ohm drivers on those sections will shift the intended 5,000 Hz crossover frequency and could risk overloading your amplifier or damaging the tweeter.
