Description

***Will load for your into truck*** Product weighs 321 lbs so be prepared to unload it. It is also decently top heavy so prevent tipping when unloading with an extra strap through the rollers just to balance and not carry weight etc. Includes the spring loaded guide to prevent the metal from bending upwards when shearing, but it did not come with the accessory for preventing bending from the back/the quick stop for making the same cut over. Didn’t come with these older models. This tool has been used for only one real project and it was just a single 90 degree bend on some stainless steel. I’ve tried to use it more but for what I do, I require usually thick gauge sheet metal. You can do thicker gauge bends with the brake, up to 12 gauge for 2”. But you can only do short sections if you go over 20 gauge, you cannot do a full 30” bend with over 20 gauge. If you need thicker gauge shearing go with a bench shear, but all the rest of this 3 in one tool is fantastic for the price cause you can get away with thicker gauges (up to about 16/14 gauge steel). For more capabilities I recommend checking out Spicer Designs review. He disliked this tool but only because he tried doing around 14 gauge bending and 16 gauge shearing. You can get away with thicker gauge for bending but not shearing so you don’t damage any part of the shearing blades. Great for HVAC, panels and boxes for electrical and automotive work. Would keep this tool but don’t use thin sheet metal because I am welding a lot. Message with questions!
