You are able to slide the top down a bit and the top flips open to store game pieces or cards. The original instructions are still in the storage area too. The wood is in in good sturdy condition with some minor surface scratches. This can be moved around pretty easily since there are wheels on each leg. The cane is all intact there is minor wear on the cane. Please view all the pictures as they are part of the description. This piece is sturdy and well made. Looks like brass detail near the wheels and the wood looks like walnut wood. Dimensions 19" x 19" x 25.5" tall 38" when it's open all the way 25.5" tall We are in Crystal lake if you're interested.
