We recently went into AutoNation Toyota after our Audi e-tron was involved in an accident and ultimately declared a total loss by insurance. Like most people, we weren’t exactly looking forward to the car-buying process, especially after having less-than-great experiences with dealerships in the past (with the exception of Audi).

We knew we wanted to transition from a fully electric vehicle to a hybrid SUV, and Toyota had a great selection. After sending an email inquiry, Arturo quickly responded with his availability and made it easy to schedule a time to come in.

When we arrived, we test drove a 4Runner Off-Road Premium and absolutely loved it. It checked all the boxes for what we were looking for. Arturo was incredibly helpful throughout the process and worked with his manager, Ray, after gathering some information from us. They came back with numbers and were very willing to work with us until we reached a deal we felt comfortable with.

What really stood out was the lack of pressure. There were no pushy sales tactics, just a genuine effort to help us get into a vehicle that made sense for us. The process was smooth and transparent.

The experience was so positive that we actually came back the very next day and purchased a second vehicle, as we had also been considering replacing our second car. They even joked about whether we’d be back for a third the next day :)

Overall, this was one of the easiest and most pleasant car-buying experiences we’ve had. We were in and out quickly, felt respected throughout the process, and left genuinely happy with our two new vehicles. We’ll definitely be recommending Arturo and the team to our friends and family.

I had the best experience with Geiner Samayoa at Toyota of Tempe. He got me in my 2026 4Runner Limited. He does not only sell you a car he give you fun and positive experience , makes you feel comfortable and will go out of his way to make you satisfied. We visited AutoNation Toyota Tempe on a Sunday morning to potentially purchase a particular used vehicle but ended up driving home in our first-ever brand new vehicle, a 2026 RAV4 XSE. Buying a car is usually a chore, but Alexander Nunes made it an experience.

Alex is a rare find in this industry: relaxed, funny, and genuinely passionate. He felt more like a friend than a typical salesman. The highlight was watching Alex work. Since we were buying the only 2026 RAV4 on the lot, it felt like a carcass being circled by hyenas—other salesmen and customers were constantly hovering. It was quite comical. Alex did a great job fending them off so we could focus on making the deal.

Despite the naturally exhausting nature of the financing process, Alex made the day much easier with his comedy. He is the first salesman I’ve worked with who felt like he was working for us rather than the dealership. He was honest, fair, and never pushy. He even offered to drive 50 miles round-trip to Maricopa to pick up our cashier's check just to save us the trip. We declined because it was our responsibility, not his. That level of selflessness after the sale and after his commission was already 'locked in' says everything about his character. While i have had issues in the service center in the past, i would not hesitate buying a vehicle from AutoNation Toyota Tempe in the future. All of the staff that we dealt with in the showroom and in the financing office were great. Make sure you ask for Alex Nunes if you are looking to purchase a vehicle, he is top notch.
