It’s an incredible instrument, but as a newer player, it has more notes than I can comfortably handle, so I’m hoping it can go to someone who will fully utilize its potential. Instrument Details Scale: F# harmonic minor (Romanian Hijaz flavor) Maker: Satya Sound Sculptures (built by teacher/maker Antonio Arvin, Brazil) Material: Brass, brushed Protection: 8 coats of hydrophobic ceramic coating Notes: 18 total — 16 on top, 2 on the bottom Includes: Soft carrying bag About the Sound This harmonic scale is unique in that it blends beautifully between mystical Middle-Eastern timbres and traditional Western musical structure. The full 18-note layout offers a very wide sound palette, giving you broad expressive and emotional possibilities. This instrument is wonderfully balanced, extremely precise, and crafted to a level that very few makers in the world are able to achieve.
