Opening statement yes bikes are sold as is but. A reputable dealer should not sell a bike with tires made in 2011/2012, 13 or 14 year old tires are unsafe full stop. The bike I bought over the internet photographed well but sure had a lot of damaged body work. This is topped off by an empty rear master cylinder, the cushions in the drive hub were destroyed, the brake pads (front and rear) were original from 2005 and showed it. The front brake master cylinder needed rebuilt which meant the brakes mostly worked, until they didn't. The hydraulic clutch fluid looked like chocolate milk, pretty sure it was original  too. To cap things off I was charged sales tax on an out of state purchase plus nearly $500 in registration fees that do me no good in my home state. Sure buy a bike here but do it in person and have a trusted mechanic inspection, their "service manager" clearly doesn't know what he or his department is supposed to do. The condition of the bike i purchased could have ended up hurting or killing someone who didn't take time to inspect it.
