Briggs and Stratton 6 HP Short Block Crate Engine

For sale is a 6HP Briggs and Stratton $250 obo plus shipping in excellent like-new condition but with shelf wear. It has been assembled from a NOS 6 Horsepower short block, the flywheel and coil are magnetron ignition (no points). It has a 1 inch shaft and 1/4 inch keyway and tapped at end to accept a 3/8” fine thread bolt. It has an updraft carburetor. It has a mechanical governor. The air filter is new and is pleated paper type. The pull starter is NOS but the original cotton rope I replaced with new nylon parachute cord. I haven’t tried starting it but it is assumed to run, may need the normal carb tuning. Doesn’t include a gas tank as usual for short blocks. I built a wood crate and will ship that crate in a cardboard box padded with foam via UPS unless you want to ship it a different way or pick it up in Brea, California. Please feel free to ask questions and make me an offer!
