Description

This is a large piece made from black forest wood carved by R Bergner 1956 per signing (as seen in photo). Measures 45 in wide x 27 in tall. Beautiful details including mountains, pine trees, wildlife, water and dwellings. Very good overall condition with limited evidence of wood cracking which appears to be a natural result of a knot in the wood (as seen in photos). This has been in one family since purchased in Germany late 50's. Very solid with built-in hangers for mounting.
