Vintage Kelty Pack external-frame backpack in bright red with a lightweight aluminum frame. Marked Kelty Pack, Inc., Sun Valley, California. This classic vintage hiking pack features a large main compartment, multiple exterior pockets, leather attachment tabs, padded shoulder straps, an adjustable waist belt, and an aluminum external frame. The pack retains its original shape and presents very well for its age. Condition: • Vintage preowned condition with normal wear from age, use, and storage • Bright red color with some marks and discoloration, particularly inside the main compartment • Aluminum frame has scratches and cosmetic wear • Main compartment and other pocket zippers open and close properly • Zipper on the small exterior pocket is not functional and the pocket does not securely zip closed • Waist-belt fastener is present but has not been tested • Previous owner’s name appears written on the pack • No manual or additional accessories included Please review all photographs closely for the exact condition and included components. A wonderful vintage piece for collectors, camping décor, display, restoration, or continued outdoor use.
