Description
Specialized S‑Works E5 (54cm) built with Columbus Squadra Corse alloy tubing and carbon fork. This is one of Specialized’s iconic early‑2000s race frames — light, stiff, and still highly respected for its ride quality. The bike is equipped with Campagnolo Chorus crankset (175mm), Campagnolo Chorus 10‑speed rear derailleur, and Campagnolo Daytona brakes. Currently running Micronew 2×7 shifters for basic functionality, but the original Campagnolo shifters are included (one may need a rebuild, which is common and fully serviceable). Bike shifts, brakes, and rides, but would benefit from a tune‑up and a rear wheel truing. Bars are intentionally left unwrapped so the next owner can choose whether to reinstall the original Campagnolo shifters. --- Condition Notes - Two cosmetic dents on the top tube. Rounded, no cracks or creases. - Scratches and faded decals consistent with age. - Rear wheel needs truing (moves side‑to‑side). - Needs bar tape. - One original Campagnolo shifter may need a rebuild. - Mismatched wheels (Bontrager front, Nishiki rear). --- Why This Bike Is Still Special - True S‑Works E5 alloy frame — cult classic among riders - Columbus Squadra Corse tubing - 54cm size fits a wide range of riders - Campagnolo Chorus crank + derailleur - Daytona brakes - Lightweight, fast, and responsive - Great platform for a Campagnolo restoration or retro‑modern build - Original Campy shifters included Price reflects condition and included Campagnolo components.
