Overview: Up for sale is a fantastic abstract optical illusion piece by renowned, listed Florida artist, Fonchen Lord (1911-1993). Lord was an abstract painter and sculptor based in Lakeland, Florida from 1(contact info removed). She was well-known for her abstract expressionist, optical illusion and minimalist works, including folded metal paintings and sculptures. Many of her works are in museums, colleges and private collections in Florida and elsewhere. This piece is a paper constructivist optincal illusion piece on artist's board. I am unsure if the paper is painted or simply colored. Unframed. Condition: Piece is in good to very good condition. Corner wear to board. Measurements: Painting measures 17 inches wide x 15.5 inches high.
