This is a homemade quilt with hand embroidered stitching around each butterfly patch quilt square Size is appx. 78" L x 67" W No tears or rips, guessing it is from 1940's/50's , when women were superwomen and could can food, scrub a family of 5 's laundry by hand, plant a garden, and have time to sew a quilt such as this. Quilts are expensive to make and the time involved is extensive.... Each butterfly has been hand embroidered around entire butterfly and hand stitched antenna's and body details. In very good condition and larger than most. I am guessing a queen size quilt.
