Pair of Flying Wood Duck Taxidermy Mounts – Natural Driftwood Wall Display

Beautiful pair of wood duck taxidermy mounts presented in dynamic flying poses around a natural driftwood-style wall display. The open wings create an impressive sense of movement, while the distinctive plumage and bold facial markings make this an especially attractive decorative wildlife piece. Both birds display the classic characteristics that make wood ducks so visually striking, including rich chestnut tones, iridescent green and blue accents, crisp white markings, bright red eyes and multicolored bills. The different wing positions give the arrangement depth and allow the feather detail to be appreciated from several angles. The natural wood centerpiece complements the birds beautifully and makes the entire arrangement feel like one coordinated display rather than two individual mounts. It would work particularly well in a hunting lodge, cabin, sporting property, trophy room, rustic home, restaurant or established waterfowl collection. Approximate Overall Dimensions: Overall width: 42" Overall height: 34" Projection from wall: 15" Individual wingspan: approximately 27–30" Natural wood centerpiece: approximately 30" × 18" Condition: Very good overall display condition. The plumage presents with strong coloration and good feather coverage, with the wing and tail feathers retaining attractive definition. The heads, bills and eyes also present nicely. As with any pre-owned taxidermy, buyers are welcome to request additional close-up photographs or measurements before purchasing. I want you to be comfortable with exactly what you're receiving.
