Classic USA-made heavy-duty high-speed conventional star drag reel designed for saltwater trolling and big-game fishing. Signature maroon side plates, high-speed retrieve. Very smooth. Excellent used condition. Penn Jigmaster No. 500 with green handle. Iconic workhorse, quick-take-down frame. Good used condition with SMALL CRACK in side plate (shown in pics). Side plates are easily replaceable and widely available. J. Marttiini / Rapala birch-handled 4” fillet knife. Vintage in excellent condition. Includes the original embossed leather sheath. Fiskars Fillet 6” Knife with Built-in Sheath Sharpener. Vintage in excellent condition. Includes sheath with built-in sharpener. Made in USA/Finland. Vintage Rod + Reel Set. Includes Penn Jigmaster No. 500 conventional reel mounted on older saltwater rod. Reel shows wear from age but is still smooth and ready to fish. Rod is unbranded with wood butt, cork foregrip, aluminum reel seat and heavy-duty guides. Butt end cap missing. REELS wind smoothly. I turned each reel through several full rotations of the handle — all wind smoothly with no grinding or catching. Drag engages and releases. Spools spin freely. Not tested under load or in water.
