2023 Trek Dual Sport+ 2 Electric Bike / E-Bike / Gravel Bike – Only 39 Miles!

$680 OBO – Priced to Sell! Selling my 2023 Trek Dual Sport+ 2 Stagger electric bike, size medium. Originally retailed for over $2,000. Asking $680 OBO. Great deal for someone looking to get into an electric bike without spending a fortune. Bike has only 62 kilometers (about 39 miles) on the odometer! That’s basically one full charge worth of riding. I’m the second owner, and the bike originally belonged to a family friend, who barely used it. It spent most of its life sitting in her garage, which explains some of the cosmetic wear despite the extremely low mileage. I personally ride road bikes, so electric bikes aren’t really my thing. I’ve only taken this one out for a ride, and it rides phenomenally. The motor works great, the battery holds a charge, and it shifts perfectly through all 9 gears. Recent Maintenance / Upgrades: * Brand new KMC e-bike chain installed * Rear derailleur recently adjusted at Trek Santa Clarita * Shifts smoothly through all 9 gears * Brand new Hyena Gen 2 charger ($100 value) * Around $200 recently spent on the chain, charger, and maintenance * Tires are practically new with plenty of tread Battery & Motor: The bike uses a rear hub motor with a cadence sensor and has three levels of pedal assistance. You can also connect to the Hyena app to adjust the power output of each assist level depending on how much assistance you want. With only 62 KM on the odometer, the battery has seen very little use and still holds a charge great. Range will depend on the assist level, terrain, and riding conditions, but the battery has very little mileage on it. Overall Condition: The bike is in great shape mechanically. The frame and paint are in good condition, the wheels are straight, spokes are good, and all the electronics function as they should. Since the bike spent most of its life sitting in a garage, there are a few things worth mentioning: * Brake pads could use replacing due to age. Relatively inexpensive fix, probably around $30 for pads. * Brake rotors have a little surface rust but are still in good condition. * Headset could use some grease eventually. * Handlebar grips show some wear. * Some bolts have minor surface rust from sitting. Nothing major, and none of these things prevent the bike from riding. Just being upfront about its condition. The drivetrain has already been serviced, and the bike rides and shifts wonderfully. Reason for Selling: I mainly ride traditional road bikes and don’t really have a use for an electric bike. Rather than letting it sit around collecting dust, I’d rather sell it to someone who will actually use it.
