I had a really great experience at JD Auto. Lexi, our car lady, was great. Friendly, welcoming & patient. I noticed the majority of the cars here are very fairly priced, low miles in respect to the car's year & in good shape. The only 2 negatives were our car wasn't cleaned (cup holders, arm rests etc are gross) & the check engine light came on the next morning after I bought our car.

My sister and I drove 2 hours to see a Nissan Sentra that was listed as never being in an accident. When I inspected the car, there was glass in the back from a smashed rear windshield. Even though they stated that the car had just gone in for repairs that same day, the check engine light was also on.
They claimed the second car we looked at had also never been in an accident. The gentleman brought us the car to test drive, leaving the car on. I realized he did this to keep us from seeing the collision notification on startup.
Overall, they lied about both cars and tried to trick us into thinking both cars were never in accidents, listing false information online as well as in person. Highly recommend you avoid this place.

This is my second time buying a car from JD Auto PDX, and they continue to impress. Their selection of vehicles is seriously one of the best in the area—tons of clean, reliable options, and something for just about every budget. You can tell they really put effort into curating their inventory.

Their new location is a big upgrade—more space, easy to get to, and just has a more professional, welcoming vibe overall. The whole buying process was smooth again, and the team remained just as helpful and honest as the first time. It’s rare to find a dealership that’s this consistent. Highly recommend checking them out!

The entire experience from start to finish was awful.

We wanted a specific model of car and online it looked like JD Auto had several, so we went there to look at them (Nissan Pathfinder).

When we got there, the lot was crammed - everything double parked with a few left side tiny parallel park spots at the front door. We parked in the last one. A woman was waiting at the front door and asked what we were wanting. When we told her, she disappeared and motioned for us to stay put. 5-10 minutes later she reappeared with a man (she said her husband) on speaker phone. Apparently the car we wanted to look at most was off site at "a managers house." She went and got keys for 3 other Pathfinders. They all had various damage - paint inside on seats, body damage with poor repairs, broken mirror, rock chips. All were listed as clean no accidents online. She kept disappearing through the lot leaving us behind when she'd look for the next car - but didn't communicate what was happening. One was backed so far into the bushes I'm sure the back was all scratched. It had about 6" clearance on the side so we couldn't even look at it well. And, we were not offered to start or text drive any of them. We had to walk through the detail area (over multiple cords, between plugged in E cars and detailing buckets) to the last one.

What a dumpster fire of a lot. I will never ever return to this place.

My husband William and I came to JD Auto PDX LLC to trade in our old 2008 F150 XLT Ford pickup truck for a newer pickup truck. We saw the advertisement at JD Auto PDX LLC for a 2014 Ford F150 FX4 pickup. We went to check it out. We worked with salespersons Gloria and Victor, and then Lexi in financing. They were all friendly and courteous. Lexi and another gentleman in finance (who's name I can't remember. But he showed us some pics of his cute kids!) was very helpful with our financing and we feel we got a fair trade in value for our old truck, and a fair price on the 2014 Ford F150 FX4 . We test drove our new truck twice, there was no pressure at all, we had a very good experience here at JD Auto PDX and most importantly, we were treated with respect. If you are looking for a nice, reasonably priced vehicle, we recommend checking out JD Auto PDX LLC.
