Description
Selling a Taylor 414K Grand Auditorium. This is my favorite Taylor body style suitable for everything from fingerstyle to strumming. The sound is very sweet and balanced in my opinion. This is a special edition from the first rub of limited 414's in different woods, with only a few hundred were made in 1997 in the GA size. Beautiful 2 piece Koa back and sides and sitka top. Black binding, ebony pinless bridge and fretboard. The neck is mahogany, and the guitar has chrome Grover Rotomatic tuners, black body binding, and tortoise plastic pickguard. The original thermoplastic OHSC (burgundy lining) is included. The plastic has broken in a few places but it still works exactly as it should. The exterior could use a good cleaning, but the interior is nice and fresh. The cosmetic condition is very good for 20-year-old guitar. It has a very small ding, and scratches but nothing major. Structurally, everything is 100%. Professionally installed a Fishman passive pick up with jack in strap knob. There is no on board control. Measures as follows: Grand auditorium size, 15-13/16" lower bout 1-3/4" nut width 25-1/2" scale About 4-5/8" deep
