Description

Vintage Epson FX-286 Dot-Matrix Impact Printer Selling an original Epson FX-286 dot-matrix impact printer from the mid-1980s. This heavy-duty 9-pin wide-carriage printer is in great mechanical shape and is perfect for industrial use, machine shops, tractor-feed invoices, or retro-computing setups. Details & Condition: - Model: Epson FX-286 (Wide Carriage) - Testing: Power-tested and mechanically verified. Passes standard hardware line-feed and carriage self-tests. The internal motors and paper feed rollers function smoothly. - Cosmetics: Honest vintage condition. Crisp original badging and the original smoky plastic tractor-feed cover is completely intact and uncracked. Features minor surface oxidation on the inner metal rails typical for its age, but the core mechanics are solid. - Accessories: Includes a sample sheet of perforated tractor-feed paper for testing and the attached parallel data cable so it's ready to go. Price: $85. Local cash pickup in San Diego. Serious inquiries only.
