Description
Beautiful antique Singer Model 66K treadle sewing machine, dating to 1926, with its wooden sewing cabinet and classic cast-iron Singer treadle base. Serial number Y(contact info removed) identifies this as a Singer 66K from the Clydebank/Kilbowie factory in Scotland. The black machine retains its decorative gold detailing and folds into the wooden cabinet when not in use. Cabinet includes drawers for sewing supplies and the original-style cast-iron treadle base and foot pedal. This is an approximately 100-year-old antique and shows age-related wear and patina to the wood and machine consistent with its age. It has not been refinished. A wonderful piece for a vintage sewing-machine collector, antique sewing room, historic display, or decorative furniture piece. $225 OBO. NO ZELLE OR VENMO LOCAL PICK UP
