Beautiful vintage mechanical portable balance scale kit traditionally used by goldsmiths, jewelers, and apothecaries. This is a fully functional metric set stamped with "MADE IN INDIA" and Model "509" on the central brass balance beam. The set packs down perfectly into its original custom-fitted black velvet-lined wooden storage case with dual front metal clasps and includes the protective transit foam insert.
