2001 Honda Accord

2001 Honda Accord V6 EX Sedan 3.0L J30A1 Engine with 278,000 miles. Car has cosmetic damage as listed in photos; some old, chipped and worn paint as any 20 year old car has. Cons/Issues: Passenger Front Window needs new switch (it engages but it doesn’t transfer enough power to engage regulator so window is shut) Rear passenger door locked shut. The door panel is removed but as pictured it’s in the trunk still with the handle and switch. The door latch broke and wouldn’t close anymore so we just took the lock mechanism off to keep it closed. Interior of car has some minor damage. Better to see in person than describe it. Everything important and major still works like switches, buttons, radio, etc. Check Engine light is P0401, it’ll bother you to see but it doesn’t affect the drivability of the vehicle at all. If you’re handsy enough and patient you can remove the intake manifold and clean the EGR passages yourself, it’s just a build up of carbon from all the years. Pros/Plus: Fresh Oil Change. Valid Inspection just passed, good until 2027. Car is 24+ years old so it won’t need inspections anymore for registration, you can just renew online. Rebuilt transmission at 238,000 miles. Have paperwork for record. Front set of tires only 1 year old. New struts, sway bar links, and motor mounts in 2024. Have paperwork for record. Replaced both front control arms last year (2025) in January. Power steering pump and hose replaced 2023. A/C still cold and powerful. Same with heater. Sun roof still functions like new. Not a looker but not ugly, and most importantly it drives and gets you from place to place comfortably in the Texas heat. Shoot me a message if interested.
