2003 Volkswagen New Beetle

2003 VW New Beetle GLS – 5-speed manual – 127k miles – $2,400 OBO Price is reflective of known issues (read description). The KBB value w/o any issues for this year/make/model/mileage would be $2750 - $3150 private party. Runs and drives fine. Original clutch works great. I'm the third owner, and I have all of my service records as well as some of the prior owner's. Washington title in hand, tabs good till March 2027. Being upfront about condition: Paint is peeling on the roof/hood. A few small tears in the cloth seats. The overheating light came on once once about 6 months ago. I added coolant and it's been fine since, but I also haven't driven it much. Got the oil changed recently and had my mechanic take a peek. He said it likely needs a new water pump (estimate $700-$1200). However, I have reflected that in the asking price, as previously mentioned. AC may need recharge. It blows cool, but not ice cold. Good for a commuter, a student car, or a cheap project. Aftermarket stereo and alloy wheels included. Located in Carnation, WA. Cash or cashier’s check, in person only. Happy to let you test drive.
