Description

Vintage Wm. Kratt Master Key Chromatic Pitch Pipe – 13 Keys – Original Box – $20 OBO Vintage American-made Wm. Kratt Company “The Master Key” chromatic pitch instrument, A-440 tuning standard, F-scale, 13 keys. Round, black-and-chrome pitch pipe with clearly marked musical notes, decorative musical staff on the reverse, and original red cardboard storage box with printed instructions inside. Marked with U.S. Patents 1,538,336 (1925) and 1,796,795 (1931). Manufactured by Wm. Kratt Company, Union, New Jersey. The instrument is in attractive vintage cosmetic condition. Original box shows considerable age-related wear. Sound production works (I blew into each hole, but without touching the pitch pipe with my lips). However, tuning accuracy has not been tested. An interesting vintage musical accessory for singers, choir directors, music teachers, or collectors. $20 or best reasonable offer. Local pickup.
