I am writing to offer a 2007 Ford Explorer XLT with a 4.0L engine for sale or trade. The vehicle features a motor that was replaced approximately one year ago and has roughly 16,000 miles on it. Recent maintenance includes new coil packs, adjusted bands, and a fresh transmission filter and fluid. The transmission fluid was clean with no debris in the pan. Additionally, the inner and outer rockers were replaced within the last eight years, and the rear suspension has been completely redone. Has 3rd row seating. Newer inspection Please note the following known issues: - Transmission: The transmission is currently popping out of fourth gear due to a faulty servo bore. - Body: There is a rust hole beneath the gas cap on the passenger side, and both fender sections are in poor condition. Rear hatch has some rust on the bottom and by the handle is some previous body work showing. - Electrical: The battery is currently low from sitting for a month, which has triggered the charging system monitor lights. Also has a TPS light. I have invested nearly $5,000 into the motor swap alone. I am currently asking for $4800 or the best offer. I am also open to partial or full trades for cars, campers, or ATVs.
