Propolis is also known as bee resin or bee glue. It is the resinous secretion of the flower buds of various deciduous trees collected and processed by worker bees in their pollen baskets. It is initially used by the bees as a repellent against intruders, heat, cold and rain and to glue the honeycombs and cracks of the hive together. This is raw and pure bee propolis from our beehives near beach and coastal area. The dominant plant groups are coconut trees, mangroves, citrus, mangos, sapote mamey sea grass and more.
