Description
This is Jeep is extremely strong, shifts great, clutch is good, engine runs amazing, it has minor rust in normal CJ areas but nothing crazy. I've driven this Jeep on I-95, and I-75 numerous times cruising at 65MPH. From Miami to Boynton Beach, West Palm, Naples, Fort Myers’s and Key Largo, never one issue. New 20 Gallon plastic fuel tank installed (Will never rust and is rare to have 20 gallon), new filler neck and cap, power steering box rebuilt about a year ago, has a center console subwoofer, consistent oil changes, new rear axle bearing seal, freshly painted engine cover, new fan clutch and fan shroud, new 5.25 inch kicker speakers in the dash and new 6.5 inch kicker speakers on the floor, new rear bumper, and new brake booster (Not seen in photos). Everything works, lights, gauges, odometer, etc. I have the original full doors and half cab hard top, both in excellent condition. No issues on this Jeep. 4.2L Inline 6 with a 5 speed manual transmission (the best combo) Finding a CJ8 Scrambler in this condition with this engine & transmission combo is extremely rare not to mention the half hard top and full doors! 1982 Jeep CJ8 Scrambler Metallic Gray with Blue vinyl graphics over Black Vinyl interior Black removable hard top 5-Speed T5 manual transmission 4.2L inline-6 engine 83,000 miles This 1982 Jeep CJ-8 Scrambler is a long-wheelbase pickup version of the CJ-7 that is powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six mated to a five-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case. The truck is finished in metallic gray with blue graphics, and modifications include an electronic ignition system, suspension and body lifts, black steel wheels, fender flares, and more. The truck was repainted in dark metallic gray with two-tone blue decals under previous ownership and features tubular step bars, a black removable hardtop, wide plastic fender flares, a black steel rear bumper with a receiver hitch, a roll bar, and body-colored full doors. Black 15″ steel wheels are mounted with 31″x10.5″ Milestar Patagonia mud-terrain tires, and manually-locking front hubs are equipped up front. A matching spare is mounted inside the bed, which also features wood stake sides.
