This restored version gives you the FULL ORIGINAL FRAMES of the 26-part series, but dramatically cleaned-up in a restoration. (Even has a "The Making Of" documentaries included in the set, too.) This is DIFFERENT from the disc set sold in the US, because those use the "Pan&Scan" method - you get a full screen image, but it takes away a large amount of the original image. (There's lots to read about this on the Internet, where you'll also see examples of the big difference between the USA and European releases - this is the better European release.) These are REGION B discs (PAL), so you need a Region-Free or Region B player. Pristine condition, so perfect as a gift.
