MacBook Air 13” – 2GHz i7 / 8GB / 256GB SSD – NEW Battery - $179 OBO

Excellent-condition 13-inch MacBook Air (Mid 2012) with the 2 GHz dual-core Intel i7 / 8GB RAM / 256GB SSD configuration. ************************************************************* This MacBook saw only light use for school, web browsing, documents, and has been rarely used since 2019. It was always kept in a case, which is why it is in unusually good condition. ************************************************************* I recently went through it completely: opened it, cleaned the interior, installed a new replacement battery, and checked its operation. Everything works properly and macOS Catalina runs smoothly. ************************************************************* Specs: • 13.3-inch LED-backlit display • 2.0 GHz Intel Dual-Core i7 • Turbo Boost up to 3.2 GHz • 8GB 1600 MHz DDR3 RAM • 256GB SSD • Intel HD Graphics 4000, 1536MB • FaceTime HD camera • Wi-Fi + Bluetooth • 2 × USB 3 ports • Thunderbolt port • SDXC card slot • Headphone jack • MagSafe 2 charging • macOS Catalina ************************************************************* Fresh battery: This one has a brand new replacement battery. The battery has been tested through several full cycles. CoconutBattery reports 100% health, with above 8,000 mAh at full charge capacity. ************************************************************* The original battery was 6,700 mAh, so the new battery has a 20% greater capacity, and rated at 55Wh versus the original 50Wh. ************************************************************* For normal light the new battery should last a typical day. ************************************************************* Condition: It is in a very good condition, with only minor normal cosmetic wear. ************************************************************* The display looks excellent for its age, bright, crisp, and clear. There is one tiny scratch that is barely noticeable during normal use. ************************************************************* Included: • Genuine Apple 45W MagSafe 2 charger • Protective sleeve/case • Sliding webcam privacy cover for physically blocking the camera when not in use • New silicone keyboard protector • Battery replacement tools/kit for future servicing ************************************************************* The webcam privacy slider is especially convenient: simply slide it open when using the camera and close when you want the camera covered. ************************************************************* This is a particularly nice example of the pre-Retina MacBook Air and still works very well as a lightweight computer for web browsing, email, office use, or as a secondary/travel laptop. ************************************************************* The Core i7, 8GB RAM, SSD, fresh battery, and very clean condition make it considerably better equipped than the typical base-model MacBook Air. ************************************************************* $179 OBO. No trades. Local pickup.
