Description

MECHANICS SPECIAL - this car is drive able in its current condition. It has check engine codes so it will not pass emissions for my son. We previously lived outside of city limits and didn’t require emissions so it was never a problem until now. Problems I am aware of: Steering rack is throwing a code for electrical circuit so it does not have power steering currently. If the code is reset, it will work fine again for a while, but it will throw a code again eventually. There seems to be a small vacuum leak in the brake booster line, so at very low RPMs, it will feel like no power brakes. Above idle speeds, it feels normal. 3 out of 4 tires are in need of replacing. It has other engine codes and I can provide the full VCDS scan if you’re interested in that. It also has some oil leak that looks like it may be from the oil pan gasket. AC works great though!
