Test drive, sale, and financing on 8/6/2024 went fine.  They met me in Bellevue the next day to swap vehicles because the headlights on my purchase required repair that they couldn’t do same day. I appreciated this since I live south of Tacoma.

However, it took them over two months to pay off the loan on my trade in.  So I continued to make payments on two vehicles until they finally paid it off.  All the while having it listed for sale on their lot.  Communication was abysmal. I did eventually receive a refund for my payments on the loan but this was really stressful.

I paid off my new to me vehicle 13 months after the sale date on 9/2/2025 and was owed a prorated amount on my unused gap coverage.  I emailed and called multiple times between Sept 10 and Dec 19 this year.  Again, terrible communication and customer service.  I randomly received a check yesterday 12/31 for $606 when I expected closer to $655 considering the terms and basic proration math.  No statement was included and I have not heard from them since my last email on 12/19.

If you want to buy a used car here, you should reconsider.  Don’t expect any decent customer service after the fact.  I’m pretty disappointed and I had hoped it would turn out otherwise. I won’t be returning and won’t recommend Carson Cars to anyone.

The only reason I gave any stars is because of my experience on the day of the sale and they met me a little closer to my home to swap vehicles.  Otherwise, it’s been a stressful experience when it could and should have been otherwise.

I have tried to be fair and balanced in this review.

Carson cars are theives and liars - the vehicle Carlos sold me had issues to the point where I had to force them to make repairs with threats of lawsuits. In June 2025 Jessica was sent paperwork requesting to cancel my warranty due to on going negligence between her self and her coworker Evelyn. Jessica responded directly to the paperwork and tried to claim it was never recieved.
This was sent again on July, November and multiple times in January up to current - again took threatening legal action before I ever heard from management.

Mike (owner) and Shane (manager) ensured me this would be corrected and apologied profusely after also denying they knew anything about it regardless of being CC’d on most emails.

They lied once more and did not correct anything - they have marked my account as missing payments from June until now despite admitting in writing the account was cancelled and paperwork was recieved in June meaning there were no additional payments to be made and therefor impossible le to be late or missed.

I have filed a report with BBB and contacted the Everett police department and notified them of credit fraud as well as submitted the emails from Mike Jessica and Shane as evidence in disputing my credit reports.

They care about selling POS cars overly priced and then hoping you don’t have a backbone to stand up for yourself when you catch them in a lie.

They are sleezy incompetent and lazy. They deserve to be closed down for good

Carson Cars wasted my time and disrespected me from start to finish. Yesterday, their employee Dorion told me I was approved for a 2015 Jeep Wrangler with a $1,000 deposit. I was told everything was good to go. I rearranged my schedule, came in ready to finalize the deal, and suddenly the entire story changed.

The moment I arrived, I was told I was not approved at all. Instead of the vehicle they promised, they tried to push three cars from 2002 and 2006 — all in terrible condition — and acted like that was the best I “deserved” because of my credit. The exact words were basically: “This is what you’re good for if you want a car.”

That’s not customer service. That’s manipulation and disrespect.

Carson Cars advertises that they help people with bad credit, but what they actually do is bait you with false approvals, get you in the door, and then pressure you into taking whatever broken inventory they can’t sell. No honesty. No consistency. No professionalism.

If you value your time, your dignity, or your money, avoid this dealership. There are plenty of places in Lynnwood that won’t treat you like you’re disposable.

To be honest if I could give no stars I would, I was promised they would fix an issue on my car and there repair shop had it for 6 months and couldn’t fix it, claims it’s a dummy light and there is no fixing said light. I tried to reach out to the person who sold me the car to make a complaint and was completely ghosted!! I was rushed into buying my van only because I was giving birth less then a month away and need a vehicle, if I had known they wouldn’t be able to fix the issue or even truly try to fix the issue I would have never bought the van I did, they may seem nice but they prey on you being vulnerable and lie about the safety of there vehicles. My airbag light is on an has been on and they can’t even prove it’s a dummy light and/or won’t go off if I’m ever in an accident, best believe IF that ever happens and the airbags don’t work they will have a HUGE lawsuit on there hands for falsely saying it’s a dummy light and the airbags are fine!!!! Take any vehicle you look at to your own mechanic DO NOT trust there mechanics, they don’t know what they are doing. They are nice and helpful but lie like no other! Do NOT trust them if they claim they will make sure the car gets fixed! They will send it to there mechanics who are useless and then they will wait months and months and then claim it can’t be fixed, they make it so your out of that “return” window as you could say. They add miles on so that even if you tried to take it back like they offer they turn around claiming you’ve gone over the miles and/or months you have to come back. It’s so pointless, if you looking for a shady dealership this one right here is the shadest I’ve met!!!
