Antique Horse Harness Leather Strap with 35 Large Crotal Sleigh Bells Authentic antique-style horse harness leather strap featuring 35 large brass-tone crotal sleigh bells with beautiful aged patina and natural oxidation. Measurements: * Total Bells: 35 * Bell Diameter: Approx. 1” * Bell Height: Approx. 1.25”, including mounting portion Condition: The bells show natural age-related patina, tarnishing, oxidation, and surface wear. The original leather strap shows significant aging, cracking, peeling, discoloration, fraying, and deterioration, with remnants of faded red coloring. There are two damaged areas requiring repair. One section of the leather strap is nearly torn completely through. Another area has a hole near a bell attachment, leaving the bell loose and at risk of detaching. An older repair was made using an added black leather patch, but this repair is also deteriorating, with weakened stitching that is close to breaking. Some areas show additional old stitching and cord repairs. The leather is fragile in places and will need repair or restoration before regular use or hanging.
