Description

An incredible example of brutalist art- a stunning wall sculpture by Stephen Chun circa 1970’s. Chun studied at art school in Tapei, Taiwan graduating in the 1960u’s. After moving back to his native Hong Kong, Chun took a keen interest in metalwork and started producing a series of incredible brutalist sculptures. No two pieces of Chun’s work is the same with each being unique in their various forms. Chun used a variety of materials including steel, copper, chrome and brass to create incredible pieces one of a kind. This piece measures 36” tall and 20” wide. It is in great to excellent vintage condition with a small amount of surface wear. A truly spectacular piece of art- one that would suit any mid century home decor.
