It works great for VR, I just upgraded for more vram so I can play with ai. This has 11 GB which is fine for most gaming. Obviously more is better but it's hard to get more than 8 GB in the new models. It runs everything at 1080p and probably can handle most 2k stuff, 4k is a little worse but Minecraft/fortnight was fine. I have never taken it apart but I would recommend redoing the vrm paste since it is a bit older- I have never done this so I decided not to risk it. I'm happy to let you test it or send a video of whatever you want to see.
