Whimsical adorable Cookie Jar in the shape of an old shoe. Made by Brush McCoy Pottery is patterned after the famous nursery rhyme, “There Was an Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe”, first published in 1794. The jar is marked on the bottom, “W23, USA”. The Old Shoe was produced in 1959. Would make a really cute outdoor planter as well! Can be used for other things, makes for cute kitchen decor. Made of glazed ceramic earthenware. Measurements: Approximately 12” long, 6” wide and 10 1/2” tall with lid in place. Please keep in mind that when buying Vintage items you are purchasing something that is pre loved. Most Vintage items show signs of wear, but that is also what makes them so unique
