Vintage Toshiba V-M32 Betamax VCR with Wired Remote & Manual - Parts/Repair

Vintage Toshiba V-M32 front-loading Betamax video cassette recorder. This is a Betamax machine, not VHS. The unit powers on and the display illuminates. The cassette-loading door moves when a tape is inserted, but the machine will not accept or load the tape. Pressing the eject button does not correct the issue. There does not appear to be a cassette stuck inside. Because the tape-loading mechanism is not operating properly, the unit is being sold as-is for parts, repair, or restoration. It is not being represented as a working player. Includes: * Toshiba V-M32 Betamax VCR * Original Toshiba VC-32 wired remote control * Original Toshiba owner’s manual The wired remote has not been tested. The remote cable is permanently attached to the remote. No additional connection cables are included. The unit has cosmetic wear consistent with age, including marks, scratches, dust, and discoloration. No major cracks or missing exterior buttons were observed. Please review all photos carefully. Made in Japan. Serial number appears to be 1(contact info removed). Local pickup only. Due to the age and mechanical condition, all sales are final.
