Description

Got a bunch of organic apples here harvested from our apple try in BRISBANE. The tree was never sprayed with any pesticides or anything so there are some apple with some obvious signs of apple maggots. But probably only 20% have evidence of this. There are about four 5 gallon buckets full of good apples here! NOT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION! FOR FARM FEED ONLY! Many farm animals enjoy apples as treats, including horses, pigs, goats, cattle, and even chickens, but you must prepare them safely by cutting them up and removing seeds (especially for pigs and cows) to prevent choking or toxicity, with animals like deer, rabbits, and bison also enjoying them as part of their varied diets. Farm animals that love apples such as: Horses & Donkeys: Big fans of apples as a sweet, healthy treat. Pigs/Hogs/Swine: Enjoy apples for fiber, but always remove seeds due to potential toxicity, notes Nature's Best Organic Feeds. Goats: Love munching on apples, as seen in many farm videos. Cattle/Cows: Can eat apples and apple pomace (leftover pulp) for energy, but they should be introduced slowly to avoid bloat and cut into smaller pieces to prevent choking. Chickens & Rabbits: Also enjoy windfall apples, notes a Facebook post. Bison: Enjoy apples as a special fall treat, says Green Fields Bison Ranch. Important feeding tips: Seeds: Contain cyanide and should be removed, especially for pigs, cattle, and horses. Choking Hazard: Cut apples into small, manageable pieces for most livestock, especially cattle. Introduce Slowly: Don't suddenly add a large amount of apples to their diet to prevent digestive upset like bloat in cows FIRST COME FIRST SERVE!
