Hello everyone. I wanted to share my experience with JZ Automotive Sales to warn others. From what I was told, they also have a dealership in Riverside.

This all started on 07/06/26. I’m 18 years old and was interested in buying a truck they had for sale at 701 S Main St, Santa Ana, CA 92701. The truck had around 180,000 miles and a bad transmission, which Manny told me would be repaired before I picked it up the following weekend. I got approved for financing and sent a $500 deposit, with the plan to finish the paperwork and pay the rest of my down payment when I picked up the truck.

The next day, after thinking it over, I decided I didn’t want to move forward because I felt I was paying too much for a truck with that mileage and a transmission that still needed to be repaired. I called Manny and told him I wanted to cancel everything and get my $500 deposit back.

He told me the loan had already been funded and claimed I had signed the contract. I never signed any paperwork or electronically signed any documents, so I disputed that. He also told me my $500 would not be refunded because it was being kept as a cancellation fee.

After that, he stopped answering my calls. About a week later, I received a call from the bank saying the loan had not been canceled and that I was expected to make payments on a truck I never took possession of.

On 07/12/26, we went back to the dealership, and Manny told us he would refund my $500 by 3:00 PM on 07/13/26. That time came and went, I never received my money, and he stopped answering my calls again.

I went In all sad depressed and lonely at the time with nothing but $3500 to my name. Money that my pimmp daddy had given me. Well anyway. I was Lucky and blessed to meet this handsome wonderful young man I Believe named Doug who was able to help me out in my purchase. Sadly he wasn't looking for a boyfriend but I will sure keep them on speed dial 🥰😚

I bought a Kia Optima today, the customer service was great The car runs amazing I also got an unexpected discount which was a plus thank you JZ You guys are awesome! 5 stars!! I would definitely come back and recommend others here

These people seem to be very open trustworthy and straight up.I was able to take my own mechanic with his scanner to inspect a couple of vehicles i was interested in for my daughter. I ended up taking A Ford from them. Really do appreciate these people for helping me out and letting me do as I pleased before I purchased anything 😅 I Did get denied from a couple other lots when they saw me pull up with the scanner and mechanic 🤣🤣🤣

I was debating coming on here to write a review for the longest but I regret purchasing a car from this dealership every single day. When I bought it, I was assured that it was in "perfect condition" and ready to go, but after only a few months of ownership, it has been nothing but one problem after another. I’ve spent thousands of dollars on repairs that shouldn’t have been necessary at all and frankly, I feel like I’ve been misled.
Each time I think the issues are finally fixed, something else breaks down. It has been clear that this car was far from what I was promised.
Looking back, I wish I could go back and stop myself from making this purchase. It’s not just the money I’ve spent on repairs, it’s the constant stress and inconvenience. I hope everyone else has a better experience with this place, because at the end of the day it was my decision to buy the car.
