Description

the front depicts Mission San Gabriel (east of LA.) the back carries a message about the habitat and biology of redwood trees. it's made of five beautifully dovetailed pieces of redwood. the image on the front and the text in the back are etched (perhaps burnt) into those surfaces. it has signs of wear including a paint scuff that I would try to remove.
