Description

Beautiful group of three vintage Japanese folding hand fans, each with different artwork and decoration. One fan is specifically stamped “MADE IN OCCUPIED JAPAN,” dating it to the post-WWII Allied occupation period of 1945–1952. The set includes: • Pink and metallic gold scenic Japanese fan with figures and landscape – marked MADE IN OCCUPIED JAPAN • Hand-painted floral fan with pink/red flowers and green accents • Hand-painted landscape fan featuring Japanese calligraphy and a red artist-style seal All three feature traditional folding construction with wood/bamboo-style ribs and decorative paper leaves. These are genuine older pieces and show age-related wear, discoloration and minor imperfections consistent with vintage paper fans. Please see photos closely for condition. Great collection for Japanese décor, vintage Asian collectibles, post-WWII memorabilia, display, framing or an instant collection. Selling all 3 together for $40 Pickup in Port Charlotte.
