Vintage Dual HS-36 (c. 1970) All-In-One Turntable System — Rare German Hi-Fi, Ceramic Cartridge, Auto-Start

Meet the Dual HS-36 — a rare all-in-one music system from Dual, Germany’s legendary turntable maker, built around their iconic Dual 1210 idler-drive changer. Made circa 1970, this is the kind of piece that doesn’t show up often in the US — a true collector’s find, not another mass-market deck. What you’re getting: • Fully automatic turntable — start, auto-return, all working smoothly • Original ceramic cartridge • DIN inputs for radio/tuner and tape deck — hook up your own sources • Clean dust cover, no cracks • Wood cabinet with honest, light signs of its 50+ years — still looks sharp • Clean, original silver face Fresh work done: One amp channel has been fully serviced with brand-new germanium transistors — the real, period-correct kind (hard to find, availability is hit-or-miss, so I grabbed them while I could). Right now only that one channel plays — the second channel’s transistors haven’t landed yet, restocks come and go. Selling as-is at this price to reflect that. Unit is sold on its own — speakers not included at the base price. Wire a pair of speakers in series and you’ll get mono sound through both, running off the working channel. Full video demo included so you know exactly what you’re getting before you buy. This is a genuinely unique piece — not another cookie-cutter deck flooding the market. Great as a display piece, a starter system, or a project to finish fully stereo down the line. $99 — unit only $149 — add a pair of two-way speakers (different brand, shown in photos, tested and working) plus shipping price. PLEASE READ BEFORE BUYING : I’m a private seller, not a store. Restoring vintage audio is my passion, and I work with professional test equipment. Every unit leaves my hands fully working. Local buyers are welcome to come and test it in person before paying. For shipped items, I record a detailed video test before sending it out. Shipping: I pack every item carefully and securely, but I’m not responsible for damage or loss caused by the shipping carrier. If I create the shipping label myself, the package is insured. If shipping is done through Facebook’s shipping option, I don’t add extra insurance. Extra protection packaging: If you’d like special packaging, such as double boxing or extra wrapping, I can provide it for an additional $10. Just let me know before purchase. Please keep in mind: this is used vintage equipment, on average around 40 years old. It is sold as-is, with no warranty. I can’t predict how long any vintage component will last, and I don’t offer guarantees on future performance. All sales are final, no returns. That’s why I encourage in-person testing or a video test before shipping. Please find and read the user manual online before using the audio gear for the first time. If you have any questions, feel free to ask before buying. Thank you!
